The Infinera ATN is a new metro-optimized CWDM and DWDM platform designed for cost-effective add/drop and multi-service aggregation in metro networks. The ATN extends Infinera's digital optical networking benefits into the metro environment by providing a small form-factor, cost-efficient wavelength-granular add/drop system that interoperates with Infinera DTN.

Infinera customers are finding that the DTN is the world's highest density, and most reconfigurable switched DWDM system available today. The DTN is the world's first "digital" Remotely Configurable Optical Add/Drop Mux (ROADM), and is the key building block for implementing the Infinera Digital Optical Network architecture.
